Recruitment Ideas?

Does anyone have an idea of how to recruit more people on the site? Preferably so the site will become more active than it is now. :/

Hmm,I really don't know.Sorry. =/
I tried inviting friends,but they didn't come.
One doesn't go on forums much,one (my non-internet friend) probably doesn't care about Christians forums,just facebook.I could ask her though.And one's dad is strict about forums.

Well, I noticed one thing that worked when I was helping promote a friend's site is that if you're a member of any other forum, put a link in your signature. People get curious, and this friend of mine got a lot of new members just from me putting a link in a signature...

The only problem with that is that the wrong type of people may come.

I think that's what Zealfire wanted. To have a more relaxed and friendly environment that will help people out.

In essence, yes. We'd rather not have troublemakers--though we realize that some may come around from time to time. If they don't make trouble, they'll be welcome!

That's why we have staff isn't it? To keep the "trouble-makers" out? I think as a forum with the beliefs that we have we should be a little more welcoming... that's our job as believers, isn't it? To reach out...

Anyway, that's for another thread... that's just my idea. *shrug*
